Consultation on 'Development Control: Planning for Air Quality – 2010 Update' | 26 Feb 2010


Environmental Protection UK has updated the popular guidance 'Development Control: Planning for Air Quality', and is now inviting views on the draft guidance document.

The document provides guidance to help ensure that air quality is properly accounted for in the development control process. The update represents a significant rewrite to cover changes to the air quality management and planning processes since the last update in 2006, and takes account of a number of new documents issued since the previous version, including the 2007 Air Quality Strategy.

Comments on the guidance are welcomed until Friday 26th March 2009. Comments should be emailed to: ed.dearnley@environmental-protection.org.uk
