Get involved!

Anyone can get involved in events on behalf of Environmental Protection UK and help support the work we do in the fields of Air Quality & Climate Change, Noise and Land Quality. There are lots of things you can do from trekking in India to organising your own sponsored silence.

Shakespeare Marathon

Philip Mulligan, Chief Executive of Environmental Protection UK took part in this years Rotary Shakespeare Marathon in Stratford Upon Avon on 27th April 2008. He joined over 3,000 runners in his quest to complete this huge challenge and raised around £3000 for Environmental Protection UK.

Take part in an overseas challenge of a lifetime

Whatever your dream and motivation, taking part in an overseas challenge will be the most incredible experience and will leave you with lifelong memories. Whether you are hoping to scale the heights of the world's highest peaks, cycle along the Great Wall of China or build much needed housing in the developing world there will be a challenge to suit you.

All of the trips operate a responsible tourism policy incorporating issues such as air travel and climate change with carbon offsetting in place. There are two options available in which you can fund your expedition and you will be given lots of advice and help with your fundraising and training. For more information about these challenge events and for you free copy of the brochure please email us or call 01273 878783.

Alternatively please visit the Charity Challenge website.

Organise your own event

Why not organise your own event on behalf of Environmental Protection UK. There are lots of things you can do either individually or as a group and you will not only be raising money for a worthy cause but you will have a great time doing it. Here are a few ideas for you:

  • Sponsored cycle & walk to school/work day
  • Coffee morning
  • Auction
  • Sponsored silence
  • Quiz night
  • Golf competitions
  • Treasure Hunt
  • Parachute jump
  • Cake sales

We can give you help and advice if you need it as well as provide you with a sponsorship form. You can also set up your own fundraising web page on the Just Giving website.
