About Us

Environmental Protection Scotland, our Scottish Division, brings together local authorities, environmental regulators, industry, consultants, academic institutions, health agencies, legal firms, utilities companies, and individuals with experience or expertise in environmental protection.

As well as promoting the aims of the UK organisation, the Division provides a forum for members in Scotland to discuss national issues and concerns, and ensure these are then taken into account at UK level.

Members have the opportunity to:

  • Attend regular Divisional Meetings
  • Attend educational visits
  • Access local activities and networks
  • Attend conferences, seminars and training workshops
  • Contribute to debate on environmental issues
  • Support national campaigning activities
  • Attend the Divisional AGMs

Environmental Protection Scotland is based in an office at Glasgow City Council and is administered by a part time Public Relations/Administration Manager. Activities in Scotland are managed by an Executive Committee, which is elected by members at the Scottish Annual General Meetings.
