VIBES 2010
Calling Scotland's Most Environmentally Friendly Businesses
Applications are invited from Scotland's businesses for the 11th annual Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (VIBES) Awards.
VIBES is Scotland's leading environmental awards scheme, which is free to enter and is open to any Scottish-based business that contributes to sustainable development in some way. If you have taken an effective approach to environmental improvement and sustainable development, either across the whole of your business or by focusing on only one of your activities, you could be eligible for a VIBES award.
The awards are accredited by the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), which means that VIBES winners are also considered for the prestigious European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE), which are held every two years.
Businesses and organisations can obtain an application form for VIBES 2010 by visiting the awards website at: www.vibes.org.uk or by contacting Fiona Whyte, VIBES Awards Co-ordinator, on 01349 860398.
The closing date for entries is 9 July 2010. Entries are assessed on the application
form and a site visit, and winners will be announced at a prestigious award ceremony on 1 December 2010.
