Environmental Protection UK are supporting the National Clean Air Day on 15th June 2017. The UK’s first ever National Clean Air Day is a chance for the whole country to come together and improve air quality through collective action. Find out more about how to reduce and avoid air pollution and how talking together can help enable change. Make a pledge for action on National Clean Air Day.

To support this, Environmental Protection UK have re-launched their public information leaflets on:

·        Using Wood and Coal for Home Heating;

·        Garden Bonfires;

·        Fireworks.

Environmental Protection UK are also writing to the government today calling for more action and more ambition to improve air quality and protect human health. We are proposing new and expanded measures for the National Plan for tackling nitrogen dioxide in our towns and cities.
