Event Details

The meeting will include presentations on the proposed changes to BS8485:2007: Code of Practice for the characterization and remediation from ground gas in affected developments

BS8485:2015 –Code of practice for the design of protective measures for methane and carbon dioxide ground gases in new building developments

The event will include a description of the changes that have been made, and why; worked examples to aid practitioners understand the proposed revisions; the available approaches and how this might influence the characterisation of gas risk & decisions for selection of gas protection measures

The workshop will allow delegates the opportunity to ask questions & provide the platform to offer comments as part of the consultation process

The cost to attend the event is £10 +VAT = £12.00 for members & £72 (including VAT) for non-members (but includes benefit of 12 months membership of Environmental Protection UK).

This event is eligible for CPD of 2hours.
